Like its offspring, Gelato #41 is a hybrid strain. Gelato #41 is a product of crossing Thin Mint Girl Scout Cookies with Sunset Sherbet. The strain has one of the best aroma and flavor profiles. Users claim that it has a diesel-ish aroma akin to Sour Diesel.
The Gelato #41 boasts a high THC content that ranges around 29%. As a result, it even won the High Times California Cannabis Cup.
Sherbet Bx1
The next parent strain that we need to talk about is the Sherbet Bx1. Sherbet Bx1 or Sunset Sherbet Bx1 is the perfect amalgamation of two different types of cannabis into one wholesome package. Sherbt Bx1 is a product of crossing Sherb Crasher with the iconic Sunset Sherbet strain.
Even though Sherbet Bx1 is an amazing strain to try out, it is essentially an underdog. You will not find much information on the Internet. This is because this was an experimental project by the Seed Junky growhouse. While many call it a failed experiment, the internet seems to believe that the strain did not receive its due time in the limelight.
As per user reports, the Sherbet Bx1 is an indica-leaning strain with a moderate THC content ranging from 15% THC to 25% THC.

As soon as I opened the bag, I was greeted with a strong aroma. At first, the aroma felt like a mixture of everything. However, with time, I started identifying the different notes of the aroma.
I personally picked up notes of grapefruit, lilies, and sundae ice cream. However, the strain gives off a different aroma as it is exposed to the elements. With time, the strain started giving off the aroma of pine and burnt wood.
Flavor
The flavor, on the other hand, was a slight departure from the initial aroma. While the first waft of aroma was full of sweetness. This kind of put me off as I do not enjoy sweet weed like the Ice Cream Gelato, Animal Mints, etc. However, the actual flavor profile was not what I expected.
While ‘reviewing,’ I started picking up hints of smoke, pine, and burnt wood. Even though the smell cannot be explained as skunky, it was certainly something. Meanwhile, my partner claimed that her first swig was more akin to how the Cereal milkshake strain tasted.
For my partner, the flavor profile changed, and there were two primary stages. Stage one was the creamy and sweet. The second stage was woody and charcoal-ish. Hence, you can expect the strain to taste different as you go along.
Appearance
Appearance might not be concerning to several cannabis connoisseurs, but I like my weed to be pretty. I was pleasantly surprised by the aesthetics of the Jealousy strain. In fact, it is one of the prettiest strains I have ‘reviewed.” The buds were of medium size and were covered with crystallized trichomes. I personally found very few seeds in the strain. This made grinding much easier.
The buds were mostly green. However, the strain also had a light purple hue to it. For a second, I felt that the strain was an offshoot of the Purple Haze family. Subsequently, orange pistils complemented the purple and green hues of the bud. This creates a zany visual contrast that is impeccable, to say the least.
While visuals matter very little. I felt that this was a very pretty strain to come across.

Now, let me retrace my steps and look at some of the things that this strain made me feel. While your experience might largely differ from what I experienced, it is fun to reminisce.
The first thing that I want to say is that the strain kicks like a horse. As soon as I took a swig of the strain, I understood what the strain was all about and why it was called the jealousy strain. Going by my experince, this is a fast-acting strain that can overpower your senses in minutes.
Many users might think that 17% THC is not that high. But the truth is far from that. I felt a mix of indica and sativa effects at the same time. Therefore, my body wanted to laze around, but my mind was racing with ideas.
I believe that this strain is perfect for people who like to study or consume content while being high. It kept me alert and relaxed at the same time. However, the final stages of the high felt more like sedation. The whole experience lasted around 2 hours.
